16S-300 Solar Simulator Color Fastness

The single output of the 16S Solar Simulator produces solar UV radiation in the range of 290 to 400 nm or full spectrum sunlight. It can output 1 years worth of UV in about 5 days, depending on spot size, providing rapid aging results.

The Model 16S 150  accurately replicate the sun’s UV and meet the latest standards for light sources by ASTM. Many of the ASTM standards requiring the G151 or G155 standard can be accomplished with the 16S Solar Simulator. Includes XPS power supply.

By eliminating the visible and infrared light from its output, UV levels 20-30 times stronger than tropical sun can be produced without the thermal component associated with these high levels light. This is ideal for measuring the damaging effects of UV during plastics testing.
